The Johnstown-Milliken Chamber of Commerce is beginning work on the 2012 Community Directory.  Advertising opportunities are now available for purchase.  Please note that as a benefit of being a member of the Chamber, ad prices for Chamber members are discounted.  If you are interested in Chamber membership in order to take advantage of these discounted rates, please contract the Chamber office soon.

We have some important deadlines this year that are firm as we are targeting completion of the directories by January 17, 2012.  Advertising sales will close on October 29, 2011.  This year, all businesses that advertise in the directory must pay their 2012 membership investment (dues) in full ($175) along with a signed contract and full ad payment by this date to ensure that your ad gets reserved a place in the directory.  If the signed contract, ad content or copy,  and full payment of both your 2012 dues are not submitted by that deadline, the ad will not be included in the directory.

Advertising is sold by squares ( view diagram click here ) and will be randomly placed throughout the directory except for the premium ads.  After careful consideration we have decided not to raise the advertising prices from 2012 for Chamber members.  Please read the ad contract carefully.  As a 2012 Chamber member benefit, your business or organization will be listed in the Chamber business listing at the front of the directory as well as in the business pages also near the front of the directory.  We will generally be sticking to the same business categories for the index as we did in 2011.  If you wish to be listed under more that one category ($10 for each additional category), please note that on the contract, even if you are not purchasing an ad.  When you purchase an advertisement, we are working to get you the most exposure by placing the advertisements in the most used areas of the directory. You will need to provide us with your ad content or copy before November 15th. 2011.

As you know the Community Directory is an excellent way to showcase your business or organization to the local communities.  The directory is distributed to all residences and businesses in Johnstown and Milliken and to all Chamber members.  It is truly considered THE Phonebook in the Johnstown/Milliken area.  We are targeting January 17, 2012 as the distribution date.  Please see the Advertising Contract ( view diagram click here ) for deadlines and payment information.  You are encouraged to submit your signed contract and full payment to the Chamber as soon as possible.
