Marketing is crucial to getting the word out about your business. Here are some tools and events that can help you promote your business and learn more about marketing as you go!

• Attend Marketing and other Seminars.
• Participate in the annual Children’s Festival and Business Expo. 
• Join SendOutCards, an online card service that will mail a card for you, and show appreciation to your clients.
• Discounts for Constant Contact, an email marketing service that will make sending out newsletters a breeze. The link on our website will give you a 25% discount over their advertised prices.
• Hold virtual meetings with GoToMeeting.com.
• Purchase a list of new home owners in Milliken and Johnstown for a low fee of $20. The list is published every other month.

Networking for Great One-on-One Business Building

There are many powerful networking opportunities to get to know people and promote your business.  Here are some of the opportunities, and please read your newsletters and emails for additional events:

• Come to monthly Business After Hours hosted by a Chamber member – they are scheduled for the third Tuesday of every month.
• Join us at the Business Networking Luncheon and network with members and non-members who attend every month.
• Attend the Annual Member Banquet in February.  Participate in the Silent Auction or Sponsor a Table.
• Participate in the Annual Member’s Meeting in November.

• Referral Fee Bonus: Each time you refer a prospective business to the Chamber, you will receive a $25 check when they become a new member.

• Chamber Connection advertising and mailings.
• Listing in the annual Community Directory.
• Use the Chamber’s Bulk Rate Permit to take advantage of bulk rate discounts.
• Remember to keep the Chamber supplied with fliers and promotional items to be included in the Welcome Bag Service.
• Sponsor a Chamber event! There are Business After Hours, Children’s Festival & Business Expo, tables at the Annual Banquet and many other opportunities to sponsor an event and get additional exposure for your business.
