The Friendship Garden Club is still looking for donations to help fill the Christmas baskets to give to our families with children.
Some of our kids have had a really rough year, so let’s pull together and give them an amazing Christmas! These baskets will be filled during the week of Dec. 18th. If you have questions or would like to donate, please call Susan Schmidt at 970-218-6975. Donations can also be dropped off at the Chamber office (112 E. South 1st Street Johnstown) by Wednesday December 21, 2011.

We only have a short time left before Christmas, so please, tell your friends and family. Every little bit will help!

We are in need of:

• Cash donations – Even $5.00 will help towards the purchase of gifts, food, and clothing items.
• Volunteer your time – Call Susan Schmidt for more information – 970-218-6975
• Non-perishable food donations- Christmas dinner, as well as for a few future meals.
• Clothing – Mittens, gloves, stocking caps, scarves, socks, & undergarments to keep our kids warm. Ages: 4-15.
• Personal care products – for a 13 yr old girl & 11 yr old boy (shampoo, body wash, deodorant, etc.).
• Unused hotel toiletries & purchased toiletries – shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.
• Paper & baby goods – Toilet paper, paper towels, diapers.
• Special Request – Anything Sponge Bob or Batman related for a 4 yr old boy.
• Make sure Santa comes! – Appropriate gifts for children ages 4-15. Please, no DVD’s or electronic items. Simple but fun is
  best.
